MEET EMMA
What do you do at The Lunch Punch?
Lots of writing, making fun lunches and browsing pictures of pretty food for inspo!
What does your morning routine look like?
I'm a get-everything-ready-the-night-before kinda gal so that I'm not rushing around in the morning, so my bags and lunch are packed in the evening. I usually walk the dog in the morning and squeeze in a quick smoothie for brekkie.
What was your least favourite food as a child? Do you still hate it or do you love it now?
Brussel sprouts, but I love them now! They're yummy shredded in a salad, or even better air fried with bacon and parmesan - yum!
If you had to eat one meal everyday for the rest of your life what would it be?
Probably Spaghetti Bolognese! That sounds so boring but I'm just a sucker for pasta!
What would your superpower be and why?
Teleportation. I have a lot of family overseas and never having to get on a long haul flight again would be amazing!
What is your favourite magical or mythological animal?
Pegasus! My sister and I loved the Disney Hercules movie as kids and we had matching Pegasus cuddly toys.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Probably an actress - now I can't think of anything worse than being in front of the camera!
Who is your favourite Disney hero or heroine?
Back to the Hercules obsession...Meg! She's a badass who sold her soul to Hades! Big mood!
What fictional family would you be a member of?
Growing up I loved The Jetsons! I really thought we'd all be getting around in those flying cars by now but I guess that's a while off. They also had a robot maid that did the housekeeping - wouldn't that be handy?!
What’s your favourite sandwich and why?
You can't beat a good roast chicken sandwich! Extra points for stuffing and leftover gravy!
What’s your favourite family tradition?
I grew up in the UK so Sunday Roast Dinners were a weekly thing - I would help my mum in the kitchen, so now I can make an epic roast! Now when all my family gets together it's the first thing we eat.
What was your favourite game to play as a child?
Since I was about 11 I loved playing The Sims. I still play it now, nearly 20 years later. No shame!
